Accepting Your Mixi Invite
This page will show you how to reply to the Japanese invitation mail from Mixi.

When your Mixi invitation e-mail arrives, there will be Japanese characters in the subject and possibly name fields of the email. If your computer is not setup to accept Japanese characters, you may instead get garbled code instead of the Japanese. This is OK, with my guide you will still be able to accept the invitation without any Japanese knowledge or a PC which reads Japanese characters.
Here is an example of the title of a Mixi invitation email (yours may vary slightly, this is OK):
Open the email and you will find the following text in Japanese:
It contains the name of the person who has invited you from inside the Mixi network, their message if they chose to include one with the invitation to you, and it also contains a breif description of what Mixi is and links to the Mixi homepage with contact details for the company.
